7 months {Brisbane Baby Photographer}

It only feels like yesterday that I was taking her 6 month pics! Well, here we are 7 and half months along, sigh.

Damn it!

Time is just going way too fast. I want to savour it. I want it to slow down just a smidgen. I feel like I’m missing bits. How can you possibly absorb all the utter delight at such a fast pace?! I don’t know, but I’m trying really hard to make sure I do my dandiest to not miss a thing.

You’ll never believe it but my sweet baby girl is still to roll over. She is content. She is lazy. She is helping in my quest to hold on to all that is baby….gosh I love her!

Since I took these pictures (two weeks ago)  two little toothy pegs have popped up. Needless to say, when they’re up and fully fledged pearly whites, I’ll be certainly getting some pictures to show them off as any proud mumma would do. In the meantime, here she is in the afternoon glow…

Delightfully Wonderful {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

I think I might have mentioned a few weeks back that my brother recently flew me down to Sydney to take some pictures of his little girls – my gorgeous nieces!

If you haven’t noticed, I’m way behind in my blogging but I’m trying to catch up. So, without further ado – my wonderfully, beautiful nieces – Miss Ashlie, five, and Miss Bronte, two. They are delightful in every way possible! From Ashlie’s sheer beauty to Bronte’s whimsical nature (I love the fact she was forever wearing her thongs on the wrong feet!), I had such a blast capturing them.

…And oh my, I’m getting myself one of those big trampolines – I was taken back to my childhood – I could have jumped on it all weekend long. Santa must bring one of those to my children this year…

The Little Red Dress {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

I’ve been a busy little bee this past week. I can feel the fatigue setting in now. I attended Liana Lehman’s Business BootCamp. I’m so excited about what my business has in stall and I can’t wait to hit the ground running. I have lots to do in the meantime, including a relaunch of my website and blog in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that.

As part of a closure to the workshop a photo shoot was in order. Miss Lily was one of the little models. I thought it the perfect opportunity for her to wear her little red dress. I tell you what – I don’t think I’ve been this in love with a piece of clothing for a long, long time. It’s no wonder though…the dress is so stinkin’ adorable!  We walked around Brisbane stopping along the way when we discovered some little pockets of goodness in which to photograph. It’s been a while since I’ve done an ‘urban’ shoot. I’m not sure why – I guess I just find most clients tend to love the outdoor/parks/home shoots. I find though, there is so much versatility in the city surrounds. Love it!

And this would have to be my favourite of the day. It’s so ‘soft’ and whimsical and so her…

Finally, some inside to end the day.
