Day 3 {Brisbane Family Photographer}

This photo a day challenge, is where I embark on the epic, personal journey to take one photograph every day for the month of January, of the things that are important to me.

Trevor goes back to work tomorrow and that marks the end of summer holidays.  So sad. Summer holidays have a way of making things all ok. The warm sun on your skin. A joyous, laid back feeling in the air. It’s all fun; no work. Unfortunately these holidays have been wet.  It’s rained for months (or at least that’s what it feels like). It’s truly been wet beyond belief. But, the last few days have been sunny. Beautiful, sunny, HOT weather. There is no doubt we’ve made the most of it. My favourite thing to do in the summer break is to go to my mums, hang out and swim.

Going to Nanna’s place is something I hope the kids will always treasure because I know I will. From the beautiful pool, the Jelly beans she always keeps in the cupboard to the ice-cream waiting as an after swim treat.  It’s delightful, fun and makes the holidays extra special.

Today (and yesterday) we swam our little hearts out. So. Much. Fun. I’m so grateful for these days with my family.

…and a few more of my favourite shots.
