Day 5 {Brisbane Children’s Photography}

This photo a day challenge, is where I embark on the epic, personal journey to take one photograph every day for the month of January, of the things that are important to me.

I’ve tried to avoid it for as long as I could but there is no point fighting it any more. Lily has discovered make-up. Naughty Nanna has all but encouraged it’s standard use by giving her her very own vanity, with real makeup.

I must admit it’s a sight to see – Lily applying her eyebrow shadow, I mean eye shadow. She’s so meticulous; her concentration evident.  However, since the two weeks since Christmas she has refined her skills somewhat. She no longer wears the eyeshadow above the eyebrows and is slowly edging her way towards the eyelids. As for lipstick, things are improving with each application – and it’s looking less like blush gone wrong and more as it should – a lip covering.

Now…I wonder if I’ll be able to keep Willow away from the stuff. I imagine Lily will be looking at someone to model for her in the not to distant future.
