Friday’s Favourites {Brisbane Baby Photographer}

*I will be back to blogging my regular client stuff shortly – I’m just trying to get a back log of client galleries out as a first priority and blogging takes a chunk of time – just in case you’re wondering!*

So Willow is nearly 21 months. Sob. This means she is approaching the end of her baby days if not already. I’m trying so hard to hold on to them for as long as I can. I’m willing them to last that little bit longer. But, any parent with a baby nearing toddlerhood will know, it’s not easy. Every day she’s embracing her independence more and more. She’s feisty, knowing and on the go. All. The. Time. I realised the other day that she is my most ‘into’ everything toddler (oh there I said it). She’s bouncing from one thing to the next, chatting non-stop and trashing the house along the way. I don’t remember my other two being quite this energetic. Maybe it’s just a case of too long between toddlers.

There are times when I look at her and see the baby. Like right now, as I type she’s sitting on my lap with one of her muslim wraps tucked under her arm just so watching away trying with all her mite to resist touching the keys.  Then there are times at night when she’s drinking her milk from her bottle or when she’s wearing cute ‘baby’ clothes. It’s times like these when I stop and take heed that she is, well, still my baby. Who am I kidding…she’ll always be my baby. That never changes right!?
