Workshops and Mentoring {Brisbane Award Winning Photographer}

Typically I’m a shy kinda girl – I know it’s hard to believe huh, but I am. It’s taken me all of 12 months to decide to offer some learning opportunities to others. After many requests for mentoring I figured I must have something worth while to offer. Actually, for a good while now, I’ve always thought I had a lot to offer people wanting to learn. It was just plucking the courage (and finding the time) to actually do something about it. I am excited to teach as much as I can, from finding the light, ‘posing’, your style, to photoshop and business. I’m passionate about everything photography. So, mentoring is now available, as is the option of workshops. You can opt for a Workshop/Mentoring specialising in either Children’s Photography or Newborn Portraiture. Workshop/mentoring each have their own advantages so the choice remains yours.

To celebrate the launch of mentoring/workshop opportunities, I am going to give one lucky person the option to win a days mentoring with me in either their choice of Newborn or Children’s Portraiture.

All you have to do to win this most excellent opportunity (if I do say so myself) is head over to my Facebook page, like it, and then write a status on your wall tagging @Nicole Ramsay Photography describing what workshop/mentoring opportunity you would like (linking either  http://nicoleramsay.com/blog/about/newborn-photography-workshops/ OR http://nicoleramsay.com/blog/about/childrens-photography-workshops/), to win and why. That’s it…pretty simple. Entries will remain open until the 7th of October 2011 with the winner, chosen randomly, announced on 9th October 2011. The mentoring opportunity will be valid for 6 months and not redeemable for cash. Good luck friends and I can’t wait to spend the day with someone special.

Now, because a post would not be complete without some pictures, I’ve added some of my sweet baby Willow. She’s a little doll; seriously though she is the hardest little doll to photograph so I’m somewhat proud of gaining some eye contact. See, perseverance does pay off!
