In the last birth I shared, I wrote the following words. I like to be original, and write something new for each experience, but it’s so hard when the words below ring true in every attempt I make to express how I’m feeling. So, I’ve shared them again. Here.
“There are few times in my life where I’m lost for words as I am here, now, trying to write this blog post. I know the last time I posted a birth slideshow I was lost for words to accompany the slideshow and this time is no different. Sometimes, there are no words that do justice to the beauty of what it is your trying to say. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of leaving things unsaid.”
So, on that note, I will say welcome to the world little Lulu. You are loved and cherished by your parents and siblings. No one could ever deny that. I am so honoured to have shared in what can only be described as your family’s perfect day.
As I’ve said before, Birth Photography is about emotion. It’s about capturing the blur that is labour through a photojournalistic approach. It’s about people’s faces. A touch. A moment. The tears. The relief. The laughter. The love. It’s a ride of emotion – moments in time everlasting.
