Merry Christmas {Brisbane Award Winning Photographer}

This year is fast coming to a close – much quicker than I anticipated!

I’ve had a particularly busy last quarter – so busy in fact that I simply did not have the time to devote attention to things I wanted so dearly to. Particularly, to my Friday’s Favourite project and also to my blog in general. However, January is fast approaching! It is my favourite time of the year for personal endeavours. It’s the month I partake in my Photo of the Day project and will be the third year I have undertaken it. So stay tuned for that.

Today though, I put things aside to snap some pictures of my Willow and her best friend Tilly (who has featured a little on my blog). In addition I made sure I got around to editing said images and hallelujah they’ve made it to my blog.

So here you have two beautiful fairies, all excited and merry, which brings me to why I’ve really blogged tonight. I wanted to extend a thank you to my wonderful clients in 2011. Thank you for allowing me to share in the beauty that is your life. May the magic of love twinkle in your lives throughout the Christmas season and for the upcoming new year.

I read this fitting quote about Christmas just recently, and I love it:

A lovely thing about Christmas

I must apologise for the long gap between posts – so long in fact I nearly forgot how to use my blog!

I’m an avid blogger and always try my best to keep up to date but it seems I have failed dismally these past few weeks *cough* months. I do have a good excuse I promise. See, this time of year is normally busy to say the least, but add on to that, lots and lots of newborn babes arriving left right and centre and it becomes chaotic. Which, is case in point here.

That’s ok, it just means I have so much more to share soon and I will – lots of newborns and beautiful families. In the meantime, enjoy a Beloved session I had the pleasure of experiencing back in September. How lucky am I to have captured this family for the second time…the first when little Will was just 9 months old. He’s now a beautiful, energetic toddler.

A Beautiful Song {Brisbane Family Photographer}

To say I’m loving my Beloved Sessions would be an understatement. I love celebrating genuine connections in families and couples. I love giving them a stage to do their own thing; to sing their family’s song and capture that magic along the way. It’s rewarding on so many levels. The smirks, the smiles, the giggles and laughter. That twinkle in the eye when they smile. The look of wonder, the joy of a dance in the sun. The touch of a face and the holding of hands. They’re snippets of life, not to be forgotten, but to be remembered.

Another beautiful family I saw dance on the stage of life. A witness, through the eyes of my camera.
