  • Welcome…

    Thanks for visiting! So a blog you ask? Yep. I'm a blogger from way back. I simply can't do without one so it goes without saying that I have to have one solely dedicated to my love of photography! Here's insight into the reason behind my love of photography in case you're wondering as people often do. Aside from an outlet for my creative juices I guess what I love most about photography is the moment it freezes in time. Literally, a moment captured that otherwise could never be relived. A moment in time...Forever frozen...

    A smirk. A smile. A frown. A tear. A kiss. A cuddle. Laughter. Life.

    Make sure you drop by from time to time. You'll see my latest news (including products and specials), some neat session previews, information about custom photography and it goes with out saying, you'll also see lots of photos of my children because, shucks, I just love them so much and can't help but snap them constantly!

    Before I go...always remember, don't-ever-forget the simple things and the memories they create.

Day 30 {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

This photo a day challenge, is where I embark on the epic, personal journey to take one photograph every day for the month of January, of the things that are important to me.

Just five minutes earlier you lost your very first tooth. You have waited more than a month for this day.  And it is here. But it was more dramatic than you probably thought it would be. Your bleeding mouth scared you and you cried. And cried.

But you stopped when I lifted the camera and told you it would be ok – that tonight, the tooth fairy would come. You moved the bloody tissue, then you smiled the very best smile  you could, with tears still drying on your cheek. There, I could see it…your beautiful gap and guess what?! There is another tooth already peeking through.

Baby girl, you are growing so big.

Day 29 {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

This photo a day challenge, is where I embark on the epic, personal journey to take one photograph every day for the month of January, of the things that are important to me.

Waiting for the movie to begin and I have no idea what Byron is doing, but I can see Lily is stuffing her face full of popcorn. A typical movie experience I would say.

Day 28 {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

This photo a day challenge, is where I embark on the epic, personal journey to take one photograph every day for the month of January, of the things that are important to me.

Despite your attempts at lipstick and nail polish.
Or at wishing you were three years older.
You are five. And a half. I must not forget the half.
So soft and delicate. All things innocent.
Away in dream land.
No doubt singing under rainbows and dancing with the butterflies.
Never stop dreaming.
Sweet child of mine.
