You might have noticed that I kind of dropped off the planet for a while there. Well, there is good reason! I am 13 weeks pregnant. Number 3 is on the way!! It was a little bit of a shock but we’re very excited to be adding the final member to our family. I can’t wait to do all those scrumptious newborn pics!!!
The unfortunate thing for me is that pregnancy doesn’t really agree with me at all. As anyone who has suffered hyperemesis gravidarum will understand, constant vomiting, nausea and hospital trips don’t really make for a fun time! It’s definitively better this time around but unfortunately it has meant little camera time, computer time and therefore little sessions. I’ve had to cancel sessions (sob sob) because I just could not commit and I was sad to turn some clients away but at the end of the day I didn’t want to let anyone down. I would rather deliver my best service and unfortunately for the last few months that has just not been possible.
I am hoping that things are on the improve although I don’t expect I’ll be feeling on top of the world anytime soon. I hope to pick up where I left off shortly though.
One thing to look out for, which is very exciting is the story of the birth I had the opporunity to photograph on the weekend. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! That entry shortly. In the meantime, here are some pictures of my little rascal.
Who would have thought that a little alien like creature could cause me so much grief? I should have known huh? It’s not like the two that came before were any nicer to their mummy while baking!!!
