I think Lily is finally coming to an age where she can participate in board games. There aren’t too many games that she can play just yet, but the ones she can are the ones Byron really has no interest in.
Today we discovered they both can play Guess Who. This was a very exciting discovery indeed.
I loved how they both won games.
I loved there were no tears or tantrums.
I loved how Byron helped Lily of his own accord, hinting at some questions she could ask along the way.
I loved how Lily would have me whisper secretly into her ear, the name of her ‘person’, after she tried ever so hard to read their name herself.
I loved how for 20 minutes they played and it was blissful, and quiet and just plain lovely.
