Day 2 {Brisbane Children’s Photographer}

It’s funny how one can tell a lot about a person just by looking at what they’re wearing. I know, it’s true. Take Byron and Lily for example. Wearing what could be categorised as their ‘Sunday best’ of pyjamas – and yes I know it’s nearly 10:30am. Yes, they should have been dressed but to be honest, if it wasn’t for a friend due to pop over 10 minutes in the future, the kids would have been dressed in their Sunday Best all day long, because it was freezing here today. Read F.R.E.E.Z.I.NG! A whole 16 degrees, which in Brisbane standards is cold, like the equivalent of -2 for those in Canberra.

So I digress, what do you see? Well I’ll tell you what I see. I see a boy who clearly loves sport enough to embrace it on his clothing. A boy who obviously supports the Broncos; a Queenslander. I see a girl who most obviously prefers pink. A girl smitten with the little Spanish character known as Dora. Finally,  I see a mummy that clearly buys clothes two sizes too big!

What you don’t see, and what the ‘Sunday Best’ can’t possibly tell you about these two , is they are uniquely them; individual in every sense of the word, and when they love, they love like there is no tomorrow.

Robyn Geering - umm, my kids Sunday bests are, well handme downs – but yes, we have only just out of our Sunday best now :-) and only because we had to go shopping, or breakfast at 2.30pm just wasn’t going to happen. Ahhhh, I just love school holidays.
