You’re six.
It’s summer.
You’ve spent another day swimming.
Just like yesterday and the day before that.
Drenched by the sun’s rays
You played.
Danced in the water’s embrace.
Slicing through with efficient ease.
Hours pass.
Prunes obliterate your fingerprints.
You vacate.
A gift you receive.
To celebrate your fling with the golden hue.
Right there upon your nose.
A kiss is given.
Received from an angel of the sun.
Again.
